2. The general single-stage reduction ratio includes 3, 4, 5, 7, and 10, while the two-stage ratio is obtained by multiplying each other. The reduction ratio is the ratio of the number of teeth on the ring gear to the middle sun gear. For example, if the speed ratio is 3, it is 108/2=54, so the number of teeth on the sun gear is 54, and the planetary gear reduces the speed of the gears relatively. Only then can a closed-loop transmission be formed

Because there are three planetary gears with a large number of teeth, the precision of planetary gear machining is high. A sun gear cannot guarantee much precision, so a speed ratio of 10 is better.
